Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Engineer to join our growing team. As a Full Stack Engineer, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining our platform, contributing to both frontend and backend components. You will collaborate closely with our cross-functional team of designers, product managers and other engineers to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions that meet the needs of our users and drive the success of our business.
Our Expectations (Responsibilities/Tasks):
- Design, develop, and maintain frontend and backend components of our platform.
- Collaborate with product managers and designers to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications and implementation plans.
- Implement responsive and intuitive user interfaces using modern frontend frameworks such as React.js
- Develop robust, scalable backend services using the AWS cloud platform
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices and design patterns.
- Build automated testing for CI/CD
- Perform code reviews, provide constructive feedback and work collaboratively within the engineering team
- Optimize application performance and scalability to ensure a seamless user experience under high load conditions.
- Participate in agile development processes including sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospective meetings.
Skills You’ll Need To Bring:
- Bachelors of Science in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field
- 5+ years working in AWS (CloudFormation, Lambda, Step Functions, DynamoDB, API Gateway, Cognito, IAM, S3, Serverless Framework, CloudWatch)
- Proven experience as a Full Stack Engineer or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing your contributions to web-based projects
- Proficiency in frontend technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, React.js, Material-UI and AWS Amplify
